Primary Care Networks
PCN Accounting
Primary Care Networks (PCNs) are collaborative groups of GP practices, often run informally and not as separate legal entities, managing significant funds and income streams.
If your practice is a member of a PCN and you don’t have PCN accounts you could be at risk.
Despite the lack of statutory reporting requirements, each member practice must still account for its share of PCN income and expenditure in line with HMRC and accounting standards.
Inaccurate or delayed reporting can result in tax and compliance issues, as well as a lack of transparency between member practices.
Why choose us?
- We are highly organised, liaising with the finance team to ensure the annual accounts process is as smooth and efficient as possible, meeting obligations as required.
- We work closely with your team to ensure the PCN accounts correctly reflect all income and expense streams, and allocations to member practices.
- We can provide bookkeeping training and advice, VAT guidance, legal entity set up, and can help you understand the interaction of the PCN with member practices.
- We can offer a fixed fee quote for our accounts services with an agreed turnaround schedule.
We’re here to ensure your PCN’s finances are accurate, compliant, and clearly understood by all members.
